Life Lessons From My Garden
My Garden Reminds Me:
To never take growth for granted. That all miraculous, nourishing, and beautiful manifestations begin with planting a seed.
In order for life to thrive, it must be tended to and cared for. And when it is, it will give back infinitely, bestowing many gifts.
There will always be outside forces that challenge and generate adversity. But resilience is an inherent part of every living thing.
That life has various stages and each is part of the plan and divine order.
That we can choose what we want to grow, but there is a grander force at play, orchestrating the complete design.
That growth can seem slow at first and we can even appear weakened, but in time, strength becomes yours and you will flourish.
That when you are transplanted or moved to occupy a new space, phase in your life, there will be an initial shock and adjustment, but you will dig in your roots and find stability again.
That life’s simplicity and fluidity can be witnessed in its cycles: birth, growth, death. Each is necessary for creativity, productivity, and surrender.
Some of the seeds we plant and the things we nurture, will die premature of what we expect of them. This type of lesson will be handed to us over and over again - non attachment to the outcome of our actions. The best we can do is to handle with grace, give gratitude for what was, and practice letting go.
That no matter the climate or conditions, life is colorfully filled with magic, mystery, and beauty.
