My name is Lynn Goodwin and I am New England nature lover who has recently become more intentional about protecting our oceans from Offshore Wind development. I’ve lived close the water my entire life.

A few more things about me…

I love to move - pilates, row, hike, cycle, and walk (especially with a friend).

I am an Ayurvedic health educator. I believe that we are deeply connected to nature and that our health is dependent upon living in harmony with our outer world. The health of our body, mind and spirit is necessary for creating our best experience of life and for our commitment to the greater good.

I am inspired by the writing and philosophy of John Muir, Henry David Thoreau, John O’Donohue, David Whyte, Rachel Carson, and Hermann Hess - I keep their work close to my heart.

I work on a farm in Connecticut growing organic fruit and vegetables with my husband Kyle. In the off-season, we travel in our converted van and hike throughout the western United States.

I live by the Hindu philosophy that we are here to have the experience of life.  To take in all of life’s elements through our five senses. To create a meaningful, purposeful path for ourselves and express our unique human gifts and voice. And, while in the process of experiencing and manifesting the life we most desire, we are simultaneously embarking on a spiritual journey as we learn and grow through the joys and challenges of our time here. Our lives are made most meaningful through our connections with each other and with nature.

Being immersed in nature lets us remember our true nature or our soul. We come closest to our truest self through everything that we absorb in nature, including things like eating nourishing food, walking in the woods, hiking up a mountain, floating on the ocean, or entranced by a sunset. Nature brings us closer to ourselves.

This blog celebrates all of the elements of our life experience.
